| Details | On Saturday, 23rd May 2026, Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Baramati, in association with Nurturing Facets, Pune, successfully organized a Faculty Development Programme on “Enhancing Research through AI Tools.” The programme was conducted for faculty members, research guides, and research students with the objective of enhancing research skills through modern AI-based tools and techniques. The FDP covered various important topics including Research-Led Teaching, AI for Literature Review, Journal AI Assistants, Modern Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) Tools, and Data Visualization. Dr. Netra Neelam, Founder Director of Nurturing Facets, Pune, and Dr. Preeti Mulay, Independent Researcher, Pune, served as the distinguished resource persons for the programme. The sessions were highly interactive and provided participants with hands-on exposure to different AI-enabled tools useful for academic research. The programme commenced with the welcome and introduction of the dignitaries followed by insightful technical sessions. Participants actively engaged in discussions and practical demonstrations during the sessions. The FDP significantly contributed to improving awareness regarding the integration of AI tools in research activities, data analysis, and publication processes. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and distribution of e-certificates to all registered participants. The event was successfully organized and coordinated by Dr. Yuvraj Nalwade under the guidance of the Dr. Anand Deshmukh, Director, VIIT and with the support of teaching and non-teaching staff. |
