Objectives 1. To provide students with practical exposure to the integration of Information Technology and Management practices in agricultural research and institutional operations.
2. To observe and learn research methodologies and organizational processes followed by ICAR–NIASM in managing abiotic stress in agriculture.
3. To foster interdisciplinary learning and collaboration among MCA and MBA students through insights into agricultural informatics and management systems.
Outcomes 1.  Enhanced student understanding of agricultural research applications through firsthand exposure to IT systems, data management tools, and stress mitigation technologies used in real-world agricultural settings.
2. Improved interdisciplinary awareness and career orientation among MCA and MBA students by observing institutional practices that integrate technology and management in agricultural innovation.
Conclusion in detail An industrial visit to ICAR–NIASM, Malegaon BK, Baramati was successfully organized on Tuesday, 16th December 2025, from 09.30 am to 01.30 pm by Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology, with participation from faculty members and 114 MCA–MBA I Semester students. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to the integration of Information Technology and Management practices in agricultural research, familiarize students with research methodologies and organizational processes for managing abiotic stress, and promote interdisciplinary learning. Students gained firsthand insights into advanced agricultural research applications, IT systems, data management tools, and institutional operations at ICAR–NIASM. The visit effectively enhanced students’ understanding of real-world agricultural informatics, strengthened interdisciplinary awareness, and broadened career perspectives. Overall, the program proved to be an enriching academic experience that successfully bridged theoretical knowledge with practical applications and reinforced academic–industry collaboration.

This visit was organized by Asst. Prof. Swati Chougule and Asst. Prof. Anil Shrivastva under the guidance of Honorable Dr. Anand Deshmukh, Director of VIIT Baramati. All the teachers and non-teaching staff of the department gave valuable support to the program.
