Objectives

1. To inculcate values of courage, bravery, and patriotism among students.
2. To create awareness about the sacrifice and martyrdom of Veer Baal Sahibzade.
3. To promote leadership qualities, creativity, and critical thinking through competitive activities.
4. To enhance students’ awareness of the national vision of “Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
5. To encourage physical fitness, sports awareness, and healthy lifestyles among youth.
 

 

 

Outcomes

1.  Students gained a deeper understanding of national values and historical sacrifices.

2.  The activities enhanced communication skills, leadership qualities, teamwork, and confidence.

3.  Students developed awareness about the concept of Viksit Bharat and their role as responsible citizens.

4.  The event fostered patriotism, unity, and inspiration among students.

5.  Overall feedback indicated high levels of satisfaction, motivation, and learning engagement.

 

 

 

Conclusion

In compliance with the Government of India directives, Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology, Baramati duly organized a series of student-centric activities under the Veer Baal Diwas program on 26th December 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The program was organized at the institute auditorium and witnessed active participation from students. The event commenced with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Veer Baal Diwas and the supreme sacrifice of the Sahibzade of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The following activities were conducted:

1. Essay Writing Competition Participants: 20 students Judge: Prof. Ashwini Kadam

Students expressed their thoughts on themes related to bravery, patriotism, and youth contribution towards a developed India. The essays reflected deep understanding, creativity, and emotional connection with national values. The judge appreciated the originality and clarity of ideas presented by the participants.

2. Sports & Fitness Awareness Message Participants: 5 students

This segment focused on spreading awareness regarding the importance of physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship among youth. Students delivered impactful messages emphasizing how fitness plays a crucial role in nation-building and personal development.

3. Knowledge-Based Games – Quiz Competition Theme: “Youth & Viksit  Bharat” Participants: 20 students Judge: Dr. Archana Kadam

The quiz competition tested students’ knowledge of Indian history, constitutional values, national development initiatives, and youth-centric policies. The activity generated excitement and healthy competition among participants, encouraging teamwork and quick decision-making skills.

The celebration of Veer Baal Diwas 2025 was successfully conducted and proved to be meaningful and impactful. Active student participation and effective coordination by faculty members ensured the successful achievement of all objectives. The event significantly contributed to the holistic development of students by integrating knowledge, moral values, creativity, and a strong sense of national pride.

Program was organized by Prof. Sandip Bhopale & Prof. Santosh Adsul under the guidance of Dr. Anand Deshmukh, Directo, VIIT. All the teachers and non-teaching staff of the department provided valuable support.
