| Details | On Thursday, 5th February 2026, a “Student Participation Seminar” was organized for the students of the BBA and BCA departments under the Quality Improvement Programme of Savitribai Phule Pune University at Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Baramati. Total 120 students participated in this seminar. The programme aimed to develop confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities, teamwork, and critical thinking among students. Mr. Vishal Dagade, Proprietor, Usha Electrical Services, Baramati, and Mr. Aditya Mane, Proprietor, Mane Group, Baramati, were invited as evaluators. The programme commenced with the National Anthem and University Song, followed by the felicitation of the dignitaries and a welcome address by the Hon. Director, Dr. Anand Deshmukh. Twenty groups, each consisting of six students, participated in the seminar, and to ensure transparency, groups were identified as A-1 to A-20 without disclosing student identities. The participants selected one of the two topics, “My Role and Responsibility in Women’s Safety” and “New Education Policy and Me,” and conducted a 15-minutes seminar session, including discussion and conclusion. Evaluation was based on content, coherence, confidence, presentation skills, and participation. Group A-18 secured the First Prize, Group A-1 the Second Prize, and Group A-3 the Third Prize. The seminar significantly enhanced students’ communication skills, confidence, leadership qualities, and team spirit, contributing to their overall personality development. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and was successfully coordinated by Dr. Archana Kadam under the guidance of the Hon. Director, Dr. Anand Deshmukh.
