| Details | On Wednesday, 11th February 2026, a “Student Participation Seminar” was organized for the students of the BBA and BCA departments under the Quality Improvement Programme of Savitribai Phule Pune University at Vidya Pratishthan’s Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Baramati, with the participation of 102 students. The programme aimed to develop confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities, teamwork, and critical thinking among students. Mr. Mahadeo Gaikwad Entrepreneur, Sunita Enterprises, Baramati, and Mr. Anant Avchat, Entrepreneur, Yash Bottles and Suppliers, Baramati, were invited as judges. The programme commenced with the National Anthem and University Song, followed by the felicitation of the dignitaries and a welcome address by the Hon. Director, Dr. Anand Deshmukh. Twenty groups, each consisting of six students, participated in the seminar, and to ensure transparency, groups were identified as 1 to 17 without disclosing student identities. The participants selected one of the two topics, “माझे परिसर आणि माझे गाव – विकासाचे मॉडेल” & “माझ्या करिअरची ब्लू प्रिंट” and conducted a 15-minute seminar session, including discussion and conclusion. Evaluation was based on content, coherence, confidence, presentation skills, and participation. Group 1 secured the First Prize, Group 15 the Second Prize, and Group 20 the Third Prize. The seminar significantly enhanced students’ communication skills, confidence, leadership qualities, and team spirit, contributing to their overall personality development. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and was successfully organized under the guidance of the Hon. Director, Dr. Anand Deshmukh, with Dr. Mayank Kothawade serving as the Coordinator.
